A child , born and brought up in a very small and remote village “Kansad”, used to run fast in his childhood in playgrounds of cricket, is now running his marathon of life for welfare of society and education. Very few can forget “SWA” (Self) and work for “SARVA” (All), but DINKER NAIK is among those few, who never disappointed anybody who asked for his help.

Though, being born and brought up in a poor farmer family, he had understood the importance of education |

since his childhood.
He graduated in science and took up a teacher’s
job in his early career, his affinity toward
education is never ended. At the age of 64, he is Ex. Chairman of Sarvajanik Education Society, Surat, a renowned and giant educational institute, which is nourishing twelve colleges and 18 schools, 2 research centres under its umbrella. |

In his early days of career, he had decided to settle in Uk and everything was planned, but his destiny wanted him to serve his country and whole surat district. A strong desire to create opportunity for him and his family to achieve rich, comfortable and admirable life is the brightest virtue of his personality. Apart from inherent strong characteristics like hard working nature, honesty, ability to work with and to organise team, dedication for work, intense feelings for relatives and friends and a quality of born leader, he has got outspoken personality. Though he prefers to be burnt to ashes rather than to compromise for principles, he is undefeated warrior. |

After two three years of working in a chemical factory Atul Ltd, he joined a small chemical factory. He started his own chemical factory in 1974, since then he never looked back. He achieved awards for exports from state government and local bodies for several successive years. A small unit established by him is now a giant dyestuff manufacturing unit in Surat region. |

Not keeping his activity limited to manufacturing of chemicals, he had shown his keen interest in development of industrial area too. He was founder of Pandesara and Sachin Industrial Co-Operative Society. By his unwearied efforts and utmost contribution, the areas are consolidated with infrastructure facilities. So many chemical industries in Surat region are the results of his inspiration and assistance. |

He has singlehanded developed a small rural school of Sachin to a modern full-fledged rural educational centre. Though, he was designated in various committees of Chamber of Commerce, State and Central Government Advisory Committees, his affinity for education attracted him to Sarvajanik Education Society in 1994. After de-shouldering his responsibility of own industry to his young and enthusiastic son, he hardly visit his factory. Retirement means change of working-field to him. He, as an outcome of qualities of leadership and dedication to his work, was selected as a Chairman of Sarvajanik Education Society in 2005. He spent almost six hours a day
for society. Under his
visionary programs and good team work, the
institute has established Research Centres and
Engineering college. |

He joined Surat District
Cricket association, when it was indebted. His
personal skills along with good team work have
put institute to become self-reliant. He is
active as a secretary of association and engaged
in development of Cricket stadium and other
indoor facilities. |

Having done all these, he, humbly, give all credits to his wife, SAROJBEN, who has been his inspiration throughout life. He believes in a life with discipline high family value. The enviously happy marriage life is also a role model for young couples. They are enjoying Velentine Years rather than a Valentine Day of our modern culture. |
